A one-time commission is a transaction. You refer someone, they buy, you get paid once. Then you need another referral to earn again. The income ceiling is directly tied to your output.
A recurring commission is a relationship. You refer someone to a subscription product — ClickFunnels, GetResponse, Jasper, Make, or Pictory — and earn a percentage of their subscription every month as long as they remain a customer. Your first referral in January can still be paying you in December.
